I am currently using a Canon EOS 1D Mk ll N body.

I usually have the body fitted with a 24-105mm lense which I find to be an excellent all-rounder, useful for keeping on the camera for all times when a more specialized one isn't needed.

This body was bought as an upgrade from a EOS 40D which I considered holding on to as a spare but thought better of when I decided I could use the money for other things.

The 40D replaced a 400D kit which included EF-S 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 and EF 55-200 mm f/4.5-5.6 lenses.

That was my first digital SLR, having decided to move on from a canon powershot S3 IS compact to give me the added versatility that I could get from interchangeable lenses.

I have had a go at using a Nikon camera but prefer Canon. This is nothing against Nikon it's just what I have become used to.
